Bread, a division of Alliance Data, is a technology company that aims to transform the world of paper credit card applications and hidden interest rates by providing leading point-of-sale financing options for merchants across the e-commerce journey. We build tools, technologies and APIs that allow merchants to integrate an installment loan financing and checkout experience anywhere in their customers’ shopping journey. The customer support associate will provide best-in-class support to our customers by responding to customer support emails, and educating customers on our product via inbound calls.
JOB DESCRIPTION SECTION
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
· Field inbound customer calls and emails, resolving customer requests with expediency
· Navigate customers through using the product, identifying and troubleshooting technical issues that surface
· Develop a thorough understanding of the product, and identify gaps to improve workflow and interdepartmental communication
· Adhere to evolving processes within a growing startup to maintain efficiency and achieve operational excellence
· Identify and track customer issues and complaints to ensure transparency and improve the customer experience
REPORTS TO: Customer Support Team Leader
WORKING CONDITIONS/ PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Normal office environment
DIRECT REPORTS: None
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalent education
1 year of experience working in a call center
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
Over one year of call center experience
Knowledge of the e-commerce and payments landscape
CRM (Zendesk) experience
Financial Services experience
