Job Description Allstate Insurance Company has an exceptional career opportunity for a SIU Casualty Investigator in Baltimore, MD! As an Allstate SIU Investigator, you will be responsible for investigating claims to detect or deter fraud in accordance with state guidelines and Allstate policies and procedures. Your work will be conducted both in an office and in the field investigating potentially fraudulent insurance claims. You will be responsible for investigating claims and damages that may result from First or Third-Party bodily injury claims. Your investigations include analysis of injuries, interviewing parties and witnesses to the loss, obtaining statements and evidence, and assisting in the evaluation of these claims. This work will require regular field work to loss sites and to meet with involved parties in your market. Occasional overnight travel can be expected for investigation of larger or more complex losses. Various computer technologies are used to document investigation plans and results within the claims applications, as well as for searching internet resources and databases for information relevant to the investigation of the claim. Excellent investigational and analytical skills are a key skill set for this position. Customer service and working as a team player with SIU employees and employees in other Allstate departments are also required in this position.
