Job Description The Sales Trainer opportunity with Allstate Insurance Company will require you to use your training and coaching skills with our new and existing Agents. Youll be part of a team that delivers and effectively educates new and existing agencies and their licensed support staff. Our training provides sales-focused education to ensure Allstate agencies are able to follow operational policies and procedures. This is a position that will make a difference! The scope of this job is Deliver effective Allstate product and technology education to agencies through a variety of mediums, such as instructor-led training and presentations, web conferences (such as WebEx), and teleconferences Assist with the planning, development, and review of educational programs to ensure effective course materials Documentation and reporting of education delivery activities Establish positive rapport with field sales leadership and agencies Must be able to manage training sessions and be flexible to meet the attendees needs/skill levels while maintaining control and structure of the class Travel up to 25% Overnight travel will be required Note: This is an individual contributor position with opportunities for advancement. Job Qualifications Bachelors degree required, no major preference At least 1 year of training experience, preferably with a Property & Casualty and/or Life insurance company Sales experience preferred Must obtain a Property & Casualty and Life & Health license within 6 months of being appointed to the position Must be articulate and utilize proper grammar in daily conversation and development of written materials Experience with presentation skills in facilitating classes and leading discussions for both small and very large groups Demonstrated time management skills to work effectively against deadlines and break down complex projects into manageable steps Ability to facilitate and operate in a team environment Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suites: Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint Mobility: Preferred mobility is often a requirement for many advancement or development opportunities The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation, which includes a drug screen.
