  • Responsibilities

    • Ability to work in a call center environment, taking inbound calls from Ambit Energy sales consultants; inquiries include: general information, commission questions, bonuses, promotions, and marketing materials. • Communicates with sales consultants via phone and in person at the annual Ambition conference. • Acts with confidence by answering or finding answers to consultant’s questions and finding solutions to issues. • Develops rapport with the consultant base; must have the ability to build and maintain relationships, and learn the knowledge required to resolve issues and answer questions. • Promotes good customer relations and customer satisfaction with a friendly and professional demeanor. • Maintain quality scores and call center metrics while working in a fast-paced team environment. • Onsite presence is required at our annual consultant conference AMBITION which will require evening and weekend work, typically over Labor Day weekend each year. • Full time physical attendance is an essential function of the job.

    Required Skills

    • Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish). • At least 6 months to 1 year of inbound call center experience, or a position with heavy phone use on a daily basis. • At least 3 months in AMBIT Customer Care, (can include Specialty Queue). • Cannot be on written or final level of performance plan for attendance or performance related behavior. • Strong stable work history. • Clear and articulate communication skills; both oral and written. • Detail oriented and analytical. • Excellent spelling and grammar skills with a strong attention to detail. • Excellent math skills. • Microsoft Office experience: Word/ Outlook/ Excel. • Internet and data entry skills. • Must be available to work: Monday – Friday 7:50AM -6PM and Saturday 10AM -5PM. • Familiar with internal systems: BlueNet, CSystems and ERCOT. • Must be able to maintain acceptable attendance and punctuality. • Experience handling difficult calls with proven experience with excellent call control. • Previous experience supporting MLM organization. • Previous experience providing support to outside sales organization. • Responsive and adaptive to change.
