TREX Records Specialist II Branch/Office OP CENTER Department RECORDS City OGDEN Address 1344 West 4675 South Position Status 30 HR Schedule Mon- Fri Schedule Details 8:00 am to 2:30 pm Overview Electronic processing of member documents submitted to AFCU imaging system via various methods, quality reviewing of submitted documents, processing personal id numbers (PINs), coding of returned mail. Responsible for performing a variety of records support functions including loanqc, membershipqc and title payoff requests. This job is vital to ensure member and credit union records/documents are properly and accurately submitted to the permanent archive system and requesting PINs are processed. Completes miscellaneous duties/functions as assigned. Responsibilities ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES: 1. Assumes responsibility for the effective and timely performance of processing electronical submitted member/credit union documents and Records functions a. Processes member documents via scanner, MFP or imported to imaging system (TREX) b. Complete daily quality control of member documents to ensure that information is accessible to Credit Union personnel. c. Attention to detail is mandatory to prevent loss of documents and/or inaccurate information showing on a members account; branch/dept personnel not subjected to inaccurately returned work. d. Can complete other jobs in loanQc, MembershipQc and Vehicle lien payoff. e. Knowledge of all aspects of areas in the Records Dept. Make suggestion to improve processes in the Imaging area and other areas of Records f. Assumes responsibility for AFCU mandatory training and adherence to AFCU Core Values. g. Meets requirements to ensure that AFCU required training are completed in a timely manner through the Development Center. h. Will participate in Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC) training that has been tailored to the employee's specific responsibilities. Will be held accountable for performance as it relates to BSA / AML / OFAC requirements and processes. 2. Assumes responsibility for maintaining professional working relations with members and business contacts. a. Obtains and conveys information as needed. b. Answers questions and resolves problems promptly and courteously. c. Maintains and projects the Credit Union's professional reputation. d. Be the expert in imaging documents of the department 3. Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective communication, coordination, and working relations with Credit Union personnel and with management. a. Assists branches and departments as required. b. Supports and replaces Records' personnel as needed. c. Keeps management informed of area activities and of any significant problems. d. Provides suggestions for improved service delivery. 4. Assumes responsibility for related duties as required or assigned. a. Keeps work area clean, secure, and well maintained. b. Completes special projects Qualifications Training/Education/Certification: High school graduate or equivalent. Additional business coursework helpful At least 3 years of credit union experience Required Knowledge: Knowledge of imaging policies and procedures, TREX functions and workflows. Knowledge of Credit Union member documents and state title requirements. Understanding of indexing and imaging processes, CSAir/inBranch systems, and related computer applications. Skills/Abilities: Well organized. Attentive to detail Able to assist and coordinate activities with others. Able to use PC, Imaging Systems, 10-key, telephone and other basic business equipment. Apply
