    The Analyst, Global Trade & Receivables Finance Transactions Services will support portfolio servicing, including handling most complex revolving credit lines, ensuring compliance with credit terms, loan/security agreements, regulatory and internal guidelines. You will provide guidance and training to less experienced personnel. Acts on behalf of higher management as the need arises.

    Here’s what you can expect:

    As our Analyst, Global Trade & Receivables Finance Transactions Services business coverage will include:

    Execute advances and distributions of a most complex nature by reviewing customer requests and loan authorizations and analyzing reported collateral amounts and loan and trade facility balances. Reconcile collateral and payment activity. Complete monthly reviews of reported collateral information for most complex loans; apply credit approval terms to verify and calculate eligible and ineligible collateral. Review and identify concentrations and trends, informing lending personnel as required. Review customer requests, systems and trial balances reconciling to Company loan systems. Complete and evaluate independent confirmations of customer accounts receivable; work closely with Program Manager’s and Client Manager’s to identify pertinent issues and determine proper course of action.

    Serve as liaison between the customer and other internal and external sources as required to properly extend service, while managing risk associated with revolving asset-based lines of credit. Identify cross-sell opportunities.

    For this role, HSBC targets a fixed pay range between $51,400 and $77,100.

    The final fixed pay offer will depend on the candidate and a number of variables, including but not limited to, role responsibilities, skill set, depth of experience and education, licensing/certification requirements, internal relativity, and specific work location.

    Requirements

    You’ll likely have the following qualifications to succeed in this role:

    • Minimum of an Associate’s degree in accounting, business, related field or equivalent experience
    • Minimum of five years’ progressive ledger management and operational experience or equivalent
    • Some knowledge of formula-based lending and Company commercial lending systems.
    • Proficiency with pertinent mainframe systems and software packages.
    • Strong demonstrated Excel and reporting skills.
    • Proven analytical, and problem-solving skills. Accounting skills desired.
    • Organizational, communications and customer service skills.
    • Self-motivated with initiative to take on new responsibilities.
