    ANALYST MODEL VALIDATION INTERN

    Equifax has an internship opportunity for the summer of 2022 in our Data and Analytics Center of Excellence.The individual will perform activities related to model risk matters surrounding statistical model development and validation, and advanced machine learning models and analytical solutions at Equifax. Upon completion of the full time internship, there is a possibility that qualified candidates be offered a part-time position for up to 20 hours per week until the end of 2022 or even full time position upon their graduation.

    WHAT YOU'LL DO:

    • Support deep-dive and innovative research projects
    • Research on the use of new and innovative analytical techniques
    • Build an Automated Model Performance Monitoring System
    • Build an Automated Attribute/Data Monitoring System
    • Build a Model Risk Management Reporting System
    • Work on other analytical projects as needed

    POSITION REQUIREMENTS

    • Working towards a Master's degree in fields such as statistics, mathematics, data science, computer science, or other related discipline. Ph.D candidates in the above fields preferred.
    • Less than 2 years of post graduate, professional experience
    • Strong programming skills and proficient in at least one of the following programming languages: SAS, SQL, Python, R, Scala, Spark
    • Strong knowledge on advanced statistical and machine learning techniques

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Prior experience with predictive modeling such as credit risk model development and/or validation preferred
    • Strong capability to undertake projects of research nature.
    • Team player with excellent inter-personal, networking, verbal and written communication skills
