    Job Description

    Visa Consulting and Analytics (VCA) is the consulting arm of Visa, and drives tangible, impactful results for clients. Drawing on our expertise in consulting, data analytics, technology, payments and economics, VCA solves the most strategic problems for our clients. VCA's core client segments include issuers, acquirers, merchants, fintechs, payment enablers and governments.

    Specific Responsibilities include

    • Support a team of experienced professionals in delivering strategic consulting services to key Visa clients.
    • Complete detailed analysis on client data and identify preliminary trends and themes in the data with some guidance.
    • Conduct market research and data analysis to identify insights in the payment industry.
    • Support the development of client-specific presentations by adapting templates for unique client scenarios and needs.
    • Support senior consultants in developing and delivering high-quality advisory solutions to clients, such as business strategy, product development and pricing, customer segmentation and customer experience improvement.

    This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in the office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager

    Qualifications

    Basic Qualifications:

    • 2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited 4-year university with a degree in business, economics, data analytics, math, engineering, science, or similar field.
    • 2+ year full time work experience in business, strategy, consulting, analytics, or research role.
    • Payment industry, digital payments or payment processing experience preferred.
    • Strategic and analytical thinking with a strong attention to detail that leverages multiple sources of information.
    • Able to understand and start to disaggregate problem statement into distinct pieces of analysis.
    • Use and adapt templates for unique client scenarios, optimizing structure to demonstrate + articulate key messages.
    • Ability to execute quantitative and qualitative analysis with some guidance.
    • Basic takeaways from the data + starting to craft storyline, ensure data quality + leverage data to support decision-making in project management.
    • Strong team player with a willingness to collaborate across levels and functional experts.
    • Strong multi-tasking skills and ability to adapt.
    • Proficient and ideally a power-user of spreadsheet and presentation tools.
    • An interest in learning advanced analytics tools (SAS, R, Tableau, etc.).
    • An interest in payments, financial institutions or consumer lending a plus.
    • An affinity for payments technology, FinTech and digital.

    Additional Information

    ** Work Hours:** Varies upon the needs of the department.

    ** Travel Requirements:** This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

    ** Mental/Physical Requirements:** This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

    U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for this position is 93,200 to 153,200 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
