CMOS works in collaboration with IT and translates systems needs to the business by supporting the necessary systems and processes it needs to thrive. Some of the duties expected of our interns: * Business analysis and reporting * Evaluation of business needs and business requirement generation * User acceptance testing * Evaluation and documentation of departmental policies and procedures * This work will encompass academic courses of study, and these courses must be applicable to the operations or the support of the needs of the CMOS team. QUALIFICATIONS * Must be currently enrolled at an accredited college or university * Pursuing an undergraduate degree and will not graduate prior to July 2018 * Degree program in Health Informatics, Computer Information Systems, Policy and Communication and Technical Writing strongly preferred * Qualified candidates will be highly motivated individuals, with strong analytical skills and an ability to adapt to a fast paced work environment * Skills, knowledge and ability requirements include data collection and analysis, the ability to develop business acumen, and applying knowledge accordingly to CMOS related projects Anthem, Inc. is ranked as one of Americas Most Admired Companies among health insurers by Fortune magazine and is a 2017 DiversityInc magazine Top 50 Company for Diversity.
