Business Services Specialist I Requisition ID 2441746 Job Family US-NY-New York Posting Description Aon Is Looking For Business Services Specialist As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions as part of our Financial Services Group within Aon Risk Solutions, in New York City. Your Impact As A Business Services Specialist Job Responsibilities: Provide a high level of customer service and administrative assistance to brokers, clients and other Financial Services Group personnel Data entry: Responsible for updating and maintaining all of the teams professional presentation materials and creating various internal and external reports Billing: Responsible for timely billing worksheet entries in order to facilitate processing and avoid cancellations Embedded within a team of Insurance Brokers, this role provides direct support on Accounts, Projects and Presentations. Knowledge of surplus lines insurance placements is helpful Presentations: Works with brokers to create PowerPoint presentations that include Benchmarking Data, Market Conditions, Renewal Strategy Documents, Renewal Proposals, etc. Outstanding Items: Maintains a diary of outstanding subjectivities and required documentation. Follows up with underwriters in collaboration with the broker team for polices and endorsements. Follows up with the applicable local Aon service team in order to timely meet carrier deadlines and avoid cancellations or alterations to coverage Policy maintenance: Maintains a diary system in order to comply with Aon best practices of policy issuance, including Aons Policy Intake System. Responsible reviewing policies for accuracy, providing a copy to the broker for approval and assisting in sending to the local office Communicates via telephone and email with various Aon personnel in all offices in which FSG services Become familiar with the key point(s) of contact for our clients Keep a log of upcoming renewals for the broker team Coordinate travel for all team members You Bring Knowledge and Expertise Required Experience: Possess 3+ years of data entry/technical/administrative experience Insurance experience preferred Knowledge of general office administration Excellent organization skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task Ability to communicate effectively with others (written and oral) Advanced PC skills (PowerPoint, Word and Excel) preferred Education: Bachelors degree or equivalent years of industry experience.
