JOB DESCRIPTION :

POSITION: DATA ANALYST/ BUSINESS SYSTEMS ANALYST

LOCATION: 1215 S. CLARK STREET, ARLINGTON, VA

DURATION: 1 YEAR

As an integral member of the Data Team, help empower government stakeholders as part of the mission modernization effort on this project. Provide actionable data and insights for the client to influence strategic decisions to help achieve short and long-term business objectives. Cultivate strong client relationships built on effective communication and delivering results.

• Desire to learn how data impacts business systems, decision making, and analytics used within the federal government
• Ability to communicate effectively and disseminate technical findings and concepts to non-technical clients
• Strong analytical skills with emphasis on noticing patterns, frequencies, and details within datasets
• Understanding of data analysis, data migration, data modeling, and data architecture
• 1+ years of SQL experience, writing queries and reporting findings
• 1+ years of analytical Excel experience
