Job Description
POSITION: JUNIOR SERVICENOW DEVELOPER
LOCATION: WASHINGTON DC
LONG TERM CONTRACT
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and maintain a suite of SNOW applications
- An active member of an Agile development team, responsible for participating in all Agile ceremonies and updating Jira tasks daily
- Troubleshooting complex issues in production and non-production systems
- Learn new technical skills to meet the needs of the project and our customers
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree plus 2 years of working experience in the IT industry or project-based environments (can include internships)
- 1 year of software development experience in any languages (can include classwork)
- A basic working understanding of SNOW
- A basic working understanding of relational databases
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to collaborate with team members to ensure client needs and expectations are met or exceeded
- Ability to work independently while consulting with a more senior team member
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Development experience with SNOW (can include classwork)
- Experience working with SharePoint development or administration (can include classwork)
- Experience working in a DevOps environment with tools such as GIT, Bamboo, Jenkins, or SonarQube
- Experience with developing in or deploying to a Cloud environment (such as AWS)
- Experience with automated testing tools such as JUnit, Selenium, Cucumber
