Job Description

POSITION: JAVA API DEVELOPER

LOCATION: LITTLETON. MA (BOSTON)

DURATION: LONG TERM CONTRACT

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENT: - API

·         Must have* 3-6 years of experience of product development in reputed product development / startup companies

·         Must have* good hands-on experience on the following skills: Java, Restful API, Couchbase queries using N1Q1, Spring Framework, Docker, etc

·         Hands on experience in developing backend components in Java including RESTful APIs with knowledge of Spring Framework, JSON based messaging format

·         Understand the use of docker/Kubernetes in developing applications for cloud deployment

·         Microservices based Architecture

RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Follow coding best practices with unit testing using established unit test framework - TestNG/JUnit

·         Adopt the development agile practice in the team to maintain high quality of code established with code reviews

·         Adapt to development of applications using source control tools such as Git/GitHub

·         Experience in writing queries to Couchbase/Cassandra for REST APIs

·         API Testing – unit, functional, performance, capacity, and latency analysis of REST APIs
