POSITION: PERFORMANCE TEST ENGINEER - CITIZENS ONLY

LOCATION: ARLINGTON, VA

DURATION: LONG TERM

ROLE DESCRIPTION

As part of a Justice and Public Safety mission modernization program, we are seeking an test automation/performance engineer to support the development and deployment of Capture. The role of the test automation/performance engineer (test engineer) is to design, build, test and deploy effective test automation and performance testing solutions. To fulfill this role, the automation/performance test engineer applies appropriate automation and performance testing technologies to meet the short- and long-term goals of the testing organization.

REQUIRED SKILLS

Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance

·         3 years of hands on automated test coding experience in creating functions, methods and programs

·         3 years performing performance testing on applications

·         1 year of experience with Selenium

·         2 year of experience with testing tools and techniques that are commercially available or that are Open Source such as UFT/QTP, Geb, Cucumber, and Spock

·         2 year of experience using and managing change management tools, Git, Bitbucket, or Subversion, and build server software (Jenkins/Hudson/Bamboo)

·         2 year of experience with Functional Testing, Integration Testing, System Testing, and User Acceptance Testing phases

ADDITIONAL SKILLS

·         Familiarity with Pega

·         Knowledge of Behavioral Drive Design (BDD)

·         Strong written and communication skills

·         Understanding of Agile methodology

·         Must be fully competent to work under general direction on complex projects usually on specific assigned projects, issues and problems

·         Candidate must be a team player and work closely with other automation developers to build/support Automation Framework

·         Candidate should have experience on automation result analysis and generate automation result reports

·         Candidate should have ability to learn new techniques and technologies quickly
