As our Global Relationship Manager you’ll be the go-to advisor for acquiring, retaining and growing Middle Market Enterprise (MME) Commercial Banking customer relationships. The Global Relationship Manager is located in the CMB Miami regional office and reports to the FL Market Executive. You’ll tackle every interaction with curiosity to uncover and solve potential roadblocks before they happen. Every day, you’ll build trust with clients and the Corporate Banking Centre teams by learning new concepts and researching information in real-time to provide creative solutions. To thrive in this job, you’ll need a proven understanding of commercial lending and risk assessment. You should also be familiar with a CRM tool and the technical and personal details it takes to manage many stakeholders through a complex decision-making process.

Here’s what you might expect on a typical day:
Build existing and winning new long-term relationships with the customers we want to bank, coherent with HSBC’s strategy to be the Leading International Bank
Own customer engagement, ensuring service excellence for all aspects of any customer.
Collaborate with product partners to identify and match customer needs with relevant expertise; notably with Trade, Cash Management, and Investment Banking and Markets.
Lead, inspire and motivate junior colleagues to ensure a flawless relationship management service is delivered.
Act as a great teammate, supporting development of a positive, collaborative culture consistent with Group Values.
Scenarios range in complexity and you need to adapt to one-of a kind challenges, everyday scenarios, and geopolitical issues.
For this role, HSBC targets a fixed pay range between $120,000 and $170,000.
The final fixed pay offer will depend on the candidate and a number of variables, including but not limited to, role responsibilities, skill set, depth of experience and education, licensing/certification requirements, internal relativity, and specific work location.

Requirements

Proven ability in identifying and meeting customer needs through matching a broad range of products and services;
Good level of business acumen and commercial awareness, including economic, cultural, procedural and regulatory issues.
