    Job Description

    Position Summary:
    Visa’s Value Added Services (VAS) organization is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to support and manage its security engineering processes and testing efforts internally as well as those performed by Visa’s Cybersecurity team. The individual will review findings from various security tools (Qualys, CheckMarx, Nexus IQ, etc.) and will coordinate the dissemination of results to project teams and coordinate resolution of High, Medium, and Low findings. The individual will be responsible for creating and distributing weekly/monthly/ad-hoc reports to all layers of management.

    Responsibilities
    Candidate will be given training and provided opportunities to earn industry leading security certifications such as CISSP and CEH for continued career growth with on the job trainings

    Supervise Security Governance activities for VAS
    Assist in updating the VAS Security Dashboard with latest and greatest information

    Assist and drive application security best practices
    Participate in Exception reconciliation meetings with Information Security Assurance
    Coordinate scheduling and execution of security tests, including CheckMarx, BlackDuck, Nexus IQ and Penetration tests as required
    Utilize JIRA ticketing system for Finding and Exception Management
    Disseminate test results to project teams in a timely or automated manner
    Export test results to Information Security Assurance for tracking
    Reconcile finding status with Information Security Assurance as required
    Assist remediation discussions as required
    Escalate issues to Audit Coordinator as required
    Assist Audit Coordinator in drafting exceptions as required
    Proactively institute reviews of current environment controls so as to identify possible weaknesses that could result in audit findings.
    Candidate will interface with varying levels within the organization, including Directors and Executive Management.

    Preferred
    Experience in SSDLC Testing and review
    Experience in Open-Source Vulnerability Management
    Experience with Penetration testing

    Knowledge of Mobile security Best Practices
    Knowledge and background on Mobile security evaluating tools and processes

    This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

    Basic Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree, OR 3+ years of relevant work experience

    Strong Security background
    SSDLC process understanding knowledge
    Pentest process knowledge and experience is preferred
    Must demonstrate strong analytical and problem solving skills
    Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
    Ability to work independently with minimum supervision and handle multiple simultaneous projects with deadlines
    Extremely detail oriented, thorough and accurate
    Expert with MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), SharePoint, document control systems.
    Ability to collaborate in a professional manner with varying levels of management
    Knowledge and understanding of Finding Management to include Governance Risk and Compliance
    Knowledge of OWASP top 10, SANS top 20 Critical Security Controls and NIST

    Additional Information

    ** Work Hours:** Varies upon the needs of the department.

    ** Travel Requirements:** This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

    ** Mental/Physical Requirements:** This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

    U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 95,200.00 to 134,600.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
