    JOB DESCRIPTION:

    The Warehouse Lending (“WHL”) practice is responsible for originating, executing, and managing limited recourse asset backed lending facilities for SVB’s specialty finance clients. An Associate in WHL assists in executing transactions, building cash flow models and conducting due diligence, and manages the transaction booking, funding and repayment, and portfolio review processes post-close. Associates take the lead in liaising between WHL and internal operations, and in developing trainees in the Associate Development Program.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Support all aspects of portfolio management, including analyzing amendment and waiver requests, assisting with monitoring credit approval renewals, booking changes to existing transactions and responding to internal and external audits.

    • Work with operations, deal team and clients to ensure draws, payments, and monthly reporting on facilities are done in an accurate and timely fashion.

    • Assist with developing and implementing policies and operating procedures, which involves interacting with various internal parties including operations, middle office, process enablement, business risk and senior credit officers, among others.

    • For existing deals, support deal leads in the internal credit process conducting analysis and research, preparing credit memorandums, and managing communications with credit, middle office and operations teams.

    • Build and iterate on robust cash flow models for warehouse transactions.

    • Support all aspects of transaction execution, including due diligence and coordinating processes with clients, other lenders and internal partners.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor’s degree or higher

    • 1-2 years’ experience

    • Experience and/or interest in the securitization / structured products markets

    • Experience in tech banking, investment banking, capital markets and/or corporate finance

    • Experience in financial modeling with a strong desire to deepen this expertise

    • Strong writing and communication skills

    • Ability to work independently with a strong attention to detail

    BASE PAY:

    $72,689.00 - $87,550.00

    Actual starting base pay will be determined on skills, experience, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. Total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other perks, as outlined in any formal offer made.
