Purpose: Performs actuarial tasks which are analytical in nature developing information for use in statistical analysis to be used to audit models used in the production of financial statements. We will consider hiring at a level 1 or 2 for this position. Accountabilities: * Validates data and calculations used by actuarial models * Audits data to be used in actuarial models * Develops profit indicators * Performs statistical analysis * Analyzes profitability of new products * Assists in preparing rate filings and financial statements * Analyze prior experience to assist in the determination of assumptions * Assists in development of Actuarial models * Reviews and evaluates data from Actuarial models * Verifies calculation factors * Basic / limited research * May participate on projects as requested Qualifications and Experience: Associate I * A degree in Actuarial science and or related field * Completion of one or more (1+) Society of Actuaries exams Associate II * A degree in Actuarial science and or related field * Completion of three plus (3+) Society of Actuaries exams * Two plus (2+) years actuarial and business-related experience * Experience with actuarial modeling software preferred, familiarity with MG-Alfa ideal NOTE: Successful candidate will be required to complete a pre-employment background check.
