AvidXchange Careers Payment Specialist-- EVENING PART TIME Customer Service & Support Charlotte, North Carolina Payment Specialist Finance | Charlotte, NC, United States Job title: Payment Specialist Department: Corp - Accounting/Finance Reports to: Supervisor, Payment Services We are looking for individuals to work on a part-time basis for an evening shift, hours will start after 4pm. The Payment Specialist of Avidxchange will be responsible for tasks related to daily payment processing of e-payments on behalf of our customers. This includes achieving assigned quotas for the number of payments successfully processed on a daily basis. S/he will also serve as a liaison with other departments, to include maintaining open and concise communication with regards to payment status and other inquiries. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: A minimum of 1 - 2 years proven accounts payable, sales and/or customer service experience Strong communication skills Adaptive to frequent process changes General skillset to perform/navigate on Microsoft OS; minimum of 60 WPM Experience with Excel (middle level or above) and SalesForce desired but not required Primary Duties: Timely processing of e-payments on behalf of our customers via phone call and/or the web Successfully met m inimum quota of payments completed per month Assist vendor to ensure payment processed within SLA designated by client Minimum of five attempts to process if unsuccessful; document to standards set forth Use all tools and resources available to maintain minimal errors, see discipline guideline; quality over quantity Actively review key metrics measured via SalesForce Dashboards to ensure standards set forth are being met Weekly reporting of metrics desired by supervisor to determine area of focus for improvement Monthly preparation of metrics measured and presented to supervisor for review of progress as compared to previous quarters Complete one further education training specific to payments team per quarter, passing grade of 80% or better Attend one Avid University - New Hire class per month until all have been completed, passing grade of 80% or better Additional Duties and Responsibilities: Deep dive review of proposed process enhancements to ensure ones assigned duties are not impacted negatively; detailed analysis presented to supervisor/management as requested Instruct and review when a new employee is scheduled to shadow Assist fellow employees with work at hand, win as a team!
