AXA IT Summer Internship (18000ALA) Primary Location : UNITED STATES-NY-SYRACUSE Organization : AXA US Contract Type : Regular Shift : Day Job Schedule : Full-time Description 'The 10-week IT Summer Intern program provides an exciting and rewarding experience for college students interested in IT as a career. Program provides training and practical experience on technology best practices and processes designed to start developing the AXA technology leaders of the future. (10 weeks 6/3/19-8/9/19) The IT Summer Internship Program will provide the Intern with a general understanding of Information Technology and the business areas we support. The IT Interns will be assigned to a technical functional area of IT Programming, Systems Analysis or Data Analysis. Upon the successful completion of the internship, the IT Interns will be considered for a permanent position upon college graduation. Intern Goals/Success Measures: Experience in building relationships with all levels of management Ability to work with project teams and complete all assigned projects by deadline dates Functional experience in assigned IT business areas Demonstrated teamwork through collaboration on an Executive presentation Typical assignments will consist of: Involvement and assistance with department-wide industry-leading-edge initiatives Project support to ensure the completion of various company-wide projects Interfacing with a diverse group of peers in a matrix organization Supporting team members in completion of project tasks such as analyzing data models, software development, conducting unit testing, and implementing project deliverables Time is allotted for training, networking and completion of CIO / SIO project presentation Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS: 'Desired Majors: Management Information Systems, Mathematics and coursework in Information Technology G.P.A.
