VPG operates across CIB in a métier-neutral manner. The group intervenes on one of four levels: * Advisor: VPG provides a written or verbal diagnosis and advise, but does not intervene directly with the client * Co-Pilot: VPG works with the originating group in a deal team format and is actively and directly involved in all client meetings, bank group calls and steering committee meetings. VPG's validation is required for all credit decisions * Pilot: VPG is responsible for all important credit decisions. VPG's validation is required for all credit decisions.     • Transfer: The file is transferred to VPG and the originating group withdraws from active participation in the file. VPG is responsible for preparing all credit requests, making all decisions pertaining to the file and solely representing the firm in all meetings. VPG also assumes responsibility for the client relationship.
