    Summary

    The Bank Compliance Analyst II-BSA is responsible for daily and periodic monitoring/reviewing of reports, researching regulations, review of state and federal compliance requirements, acts, and laws regarding BSA/AML, OFAC, and the Patriot Act, assisting in the audit process and other duties as requested.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities

    • Assist BSA Officer in administering the Bank's BSA Compliance Program.
    • Provides support to lines of business for BSA/AML-related issues.
    • Stay current with changes regarding BSA/AML, OFAC, and the Patriot Act; determines the effect of such laws and regulations on Bank Policies, procedures, and practices.
    • Collaborates with the BSA Officer for the bank's adherence, monitoring, and implementation of all BSA regulations.
    • Perform periodic reviews of written policy, program and recommends changes.
    • Monitors and reviews daily reports.
    • Assists in monitoring and oversight for suspicious activity reporting (SAR's), including filing if necessary.
    • Reviews collected information during regulatory examinations and internal or external audits for completeness and accuracy.
    • Monitors follow-up actions in cases where violations were found and reviews compliance monitoring reports.
    • Assists with the BSA and OFAC risk assessments.
    • Attends seminars, workshops, and conferences on behalf of the bank to expand compliance knowledge.
    • Maintains customer confidence by keeping client information confidential.
    • Performs other duties and assignments as requested.

    Qualifications

    • Understand and comply with all regulations of the Bank Secrecy Act.
    • Intermediate Knowledge and/or experience in AML/BSA OFAC requirements.
    • Intermediate Knowledge and /or experience with Currency transactions and Suspicious activity reporting.
    • Ability to develop and maintain close working relationships with business units and individuals.
    • Intermediate Knowledge of BSA/AML and OFAC risk assessments.
    • Intermediate Knowledge of BSA policies and programs.

    Education & Experience

    • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent related work experience required.
    • 2+ years' experience in BSA Compliance or related experience required.

    Licenses & Certifications

    • None required. ACAM certification or willingness to acquire preferred.

    Systems & Technology

    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
