Description: Responsible for supporting the day-to-day administration and handling of custody relationships, requiring knowledge of securities and custody administration. Works with custody team members to address or escalate client issues/inquiries or other related custody functions. Responsible for coordination with external partners (investment managers, brokers) and internal support partners (Securities Operations, Tax Compliance, etc.) to ensure accurate, timely and efficient custody administration. May act as a subject matter expert to teammates, depending on level of expertise and experience. Qualifications Education and Experience -Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience -Candidate should have 1- 3 years of Financial Services experience with a sound understanding of the needs of clients. -Background in banking administration, client service, relationship management or sales oriented role (a combination of skills is desired) -Custody or Asset Servicing experience a plus Skills and Knowledge -Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) -Strong writing and grammatical skills -Excellent analytical, communication, and organization skills -Ability to multi task in a fast paced environment, managing multiple projects and escalating issues where appropriate -Knowledge of banking or brokerage systems a plus Behaviors and Conduct Must be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment to prioritize, organize, and communicate with all levels, internally and externally. It is critical that the candidate be able to communicate effectively with supported Team to understand timing of requests, in order to be able to prioritize work, and collaborate within the Team environment. Sensitivity, discretion, judgment, tact and diplomacy are necessary in this role. Strong ability to multi-task, react and think quickly. Ability to seek clarification or assistance when needed.
