By ensuring we are ahead of competitors on these initiatives, Operations can help drive down costs and increase revenue.**Overall Purpose of roleMaintain a portfolio of Distressed LSTA loan trades from trade date through to settlement. Oversight of a team progressing a high volume of both par and distressed trades and ensuring effective client service.****Your Role (Key Accountabilities)**Drafting and reviewing of LSTA Distressed trade documents; Trade Confirmations, Transfer Certificates, Sub-participation agreements, Multi-lateral netting agreements and Funding Memos, Purchase and Sale Agreements, Distressed Trade Claim documentation and Private Equity/Notes documentation.**Training and encouraging the development of current and new staff on Distressed Loans Processes, Private Equity, Private Notes and Trade Claims Products. Leading by example and becoming the subject matter expert on Distressed Products.**Liaising with trade counterparties, agent banks, legal counsel, both internal and external as required to ensure documents are in order for a smooth settlement. **Reviewing of Credit Agreements to assess transferability requirements and restrictions. **Liaising with the Operations trade settlements team to instruct the settlement of trades. Monitor the trader's positions to ensure the trade and settled positions are reconciled at all times.**Keeping senior members of the loan sales and trading desk and closing team management of potential issues with trade settlements. Escalating where needed.**Work alongside the KYC team to ensure all internal checks are complete prior to trade settlements.Working within a team reporting to the head of US Loan Closing, working closely with sales and trading desk, legal, and operations settlements. Daily review and action of control and exception reporting.
