WHAT YOU WILL DO:
The is leadership role will drive the day-to-day accounting activities, month-end close accounting processes, monthly financial reporting, balance sheet account reconciliations, and journal entries, in accordance with our accounting policies and US GAAP. The role will also provide local and international leadership to a team of accounting professionals in driving process improvements, consistency and predictability to a global accounting close cycle and business processes. This includes direct responsibility for G/L accounting and surrounding systems, pre- and post-M&A involvement, accounting operations, capital expenditure analysis, and audit management.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
Software or other subscription business experience
Private Equity-owned business experience
Successful experience as a financial leader in a multi-location commercial operations environment with revenues of at least $100MM
Lead accounting in a multi-subsidiary holding company environment or similar experience
Ability to develop and manage a high performing accounting function that supports the business
Work as a value-add business partner across all functions
Work with business activities outside of North America
Work with acquisition due diligence and post-acquisition integration
Implementing procedures to improve internal control systems and other process improvements
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
CPA and/or MBA is preferred, but not required
7+ years of accounting experience; must have accounting management or supervisory experience
Proficiency with MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Strong knowledge of US GAAP
Proven leadership ability and excellent communication skills
Ability to meet assigned deadlines

Strong analytical and organizational skills: versatile and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously with competing deadlines
