ACUMATICA ACCOUNTING BUSINESS ANALYST (CONTRACT)

COMPENSATION: $70-85 per hour based on experience

LOCATION: Alpharetta 

DURATION: 3+ months THE OPPORTUNITY: 3 month contract role responsible for providing Acumatica cloud financial application knowledge and technical expertise as a member of an Acumatica Financial Accounting application implementation Team. Responsible for working closely with the Corporate Controller, Implementation Team Leader, and users across all accounting processes.  Responsible for analyzing users' accounting and reporting needs and assisting in the configuration.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: 

• 5 to 10 years of Acumatica experience as a user and/or business analyst
• Exhibits confidence and an extensive knowledge of Acumatica financial applications
• 5 + years industry experience in an accounting role
• System implementation experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Manufacturing industry experience preferred

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Provide in-depth understanding of Acumatica Financial Accounting applications
• Assist in documenting the accounting and process issues related to consolidating multiple business units/ transaction data into a centralized Acumatica cloud based financial reporting system.
• Review current accounting processes in the Procure to Pay and Quote to Cash business processes and provide recommendations for future state processes and how best to configure Acumatica.
• Develop functional recommendations for configuration of the COA and the GL, AP, and AR applications.
• Support application testing efforts for all accounting related applications.
• Assists in team and vendor meetings re: Acumatica configuration options discussions.
•  Provide guidance and address management questions related to how best to use Acumatica.
• Assist in documenting user requirements via interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, and process flow analyses.
• Assist in documenting business system's configuration and customization.
• Provide Acumatica accounting application guidance / training as needed.
