LOCATION: Atlanta, GA (Cumberland Area)

COMPENSATION: $85K plus bonus

MINIMUM REQUIREMENT: Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting & 5 years' experience in accounting operations and financial reporting

In this role, you will oversee 3 accounting staff, issue timely and accurate financial reports, comply with government reporting and filing requirements, and operate in complete transparency with the leadership team.  You will need the ability to lead as well as willingness to operate hands-on.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Maintain and improve accounting policies and internal controls
• Ensure timely collections and payments, oversee accounting team
• Conduct periodic internal audits to ensure accuracy of accounting records
• Responsible for company-wide, consolidated financial reporting
• Generate and provide customized reports and metrics for management as needed – including financial package for monthly board updates
• Coordinate and provide information to external auditors for the annual audit
• Comply with relevant government reporting and filing requirements

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA a plus
• 5+ years' accounting and financial reporting experience
• Proficiency in auditing and presenting financial reports and metrics
• Detail oriented with strong organization skills
• Tech-minded with experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint), Google Drive with ability to learn and adapt to new systems
• Ability to lead and work well within a team
