ASSISTANT CONTROLLER (ATLANTA/ALPHARETTA, GA) - DIRECT HIRE/FULL-TIME

COMPENSATION: $85-120K (commensurate with experience), bonus potential

LOCATION: Atlanta, GA area (Alpharetta)

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: 5-10 years experience ideal; Experience in public accounting (Big 10 accounting experience highly preferred); Software/technology industry experience required In need of an Assistant Controller for a PE-owned software company (350 employees and growing; $100MM in annual revenue). 

Seeking candidates who are willing to be hands-on and get in the details from Sales Taxes, to local business licensing, to monthly, quarterly, annual financial statement preparation, to higher-level items such as 606 revenue recognition. 

Candidate should understand software revenue recognition, GAAP financial statements, Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flows. Opportunity to manage payroll.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• CPA or MBA
• 5+ years accounting experience; public accounting experience required (Big 10 highly preferred)
• Experience with software/technology companies required
• Netsuite is ERP used, but experience not required
• Detail-oriented with superior analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
