BENEFIT PROCESS ASSOCIATE
BENEFITS DATA TRUST (BDT) seeks a BENEFIT PROCESS ASSOCIATE to support the Senior Manager of Benefit Process in creating simple, comprehensive, and cost-effective service delivery processes for all regional projects. The Benefit Process Associate will engage with internal stakeholders and government partners to develop implementation plans for service delivery. The Benefit Process Associate creates an overview of the relevant benefits landscape and the administering agency procedures, process flow charts, required software behaviors, and project vulnerabilities and solutions summaries. In addition, the Benefit Process Associate will collaborate with other departments to continuously evaluate and improve existing implementations.
THE BENEFIT PROCESS ASSOCIATE WILL REPORT TO THE SENIOR MANAGER OF BENEFIT PROCESS.
BDT is a remote-first organization. Employees may work remotely or from BDT's Philadelphia office. BDT has also adopted a mandatory vaccination and testing policy to safeguard the health of our employees from the hazard of COVID-19. Employees may request an exemption from the policy by providing documentation for medical or religious reasons if needed.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Conduct benefits landscape research to support the development of new implementation requirements. This research includes documenting benefit eligibility rules, agency procedures, and other considerations that allow BDT to navigate the benefit application process successfully
• Synthesize public benefit research into required software business rules and acceptance criteria for successful project implementation
• Conduct regular process/benefit audits to ensure the alignment of our proprietary digital tools (PRISM, Community PRISM, BLX, etc.) with benefit eligibility guidelines and contract requirements
• Identify high priority software updates/improvements for ongoing work and partner with the Product team to see those priorities through to implementation
• Act as a subject matter expert for proposals under the principles of lowering the cost of enrollment, simplifying the application for the client, streamlining the workflow for BDT staff, and complying with external partner regulations
• Partner with Direct Service, Contact Center Operations, Quality, and Implementations & Projects, to identify and carry out practices to improve overall performance and goal progress
• Attend workgroups and training held by administering agencies and gather updates on benefit eligibility guidelines and submission websites
• Coordinate internal communication by organizing meetings, drafting agendas, taking minutes, recording decisions, and communicating information to stakeholders on time

• Proven experience in building consensus among multiple stakeholders, especially when resolving complex challenges
• Highly flexible and resilient team player
• Strong research and critical analysis abilities
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
STARTING SALARY IS $50,000.
