Benefits Data Trust (BDT) , a nonprofit that helps millions of eligible people access food, healthcare,and other critical public benefits, is looking for an experienced Graphic Designer to support its Communications and Marketing Team. The Graphic Designer will work in a fast-paced environment and be responsible for turning ideas into compelling print and digital marketing materials that promote our nationwide work making public benefits more accessible, efficient, and equitable.
The Graphic Designer will be a visual storyteller, equal parts creative and strategic, with experience in every step of the design process. They will join a growing, agile communications and marketing team delivering high-value content to nurture prospects and convert them into BDT partners and customers. We are looking for a designer who can put their passion and skills to work to help people live healthier, more önancially secure lives.
**The Graphic Designer reports to the Content Strategist.

BDT is a remote-first organization. Employees may work remotely or from BDT's Philadelphia office. While we prefer candidates from the Philadelphia area, we are open to candidates from elsewhere.
Responsibilities:
· Execute all stages of design, from concept to final product, across channels
· Ensure all materials follow BDT brand guidelines, standards, and best practices
· Work with the Communications & Marketing Team, as well as other stakeholders across the organization, to determine the vision and requirements for new marketing projects
· Develop and pitch concepts for new marketing materials and campaigns
· Create layouts and graphics for print and digital marketing materials, including (but not limited to) case studies, impact reports, whitepapers, emails, web pages and social channels, as well as decks, motion graphics, and other visual assets for social media campaigns, videos, presentations, and webinars
· Design publications and reports for Policy, Research, and other teams as needed
· Manage Jira ticketing system for design projects and prioritize the backlog in accordance with Communications & Marketing Team needs
· Manage the design revision process for all projects

Requirements: **
· Demonstrable graphic design skills with a compelling marketing and communications portfolio
· 3-5 years of work experience in graphic design or a related discipline, and/or a bachelor's degree in a related discipline
· High-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other design tools,
· Effective communication skills, including receiving and providing constructive criticism
· Strong organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects at once
· Experience creating motion graphics, video editing, and user interface design is a plus
The salary range starts at $70,000 and is commensurate with relevant experience.
