    Job Description

    Ubisoft Entertainment, a global leader in the video games and entertainment software industry, is currently seeking a full time COMPLIANCE MANAGER for its Accounting department. The position is based in Alpharetta, GA and will report to the Controller.

     

     

    WHAT YOU'LL DO

     

    • Contract Compliance: __

      • Serve as main contact for Finance and Accounting department during the contracting process. Responsible for coordinating review and approval of credit, collection, insurance, tax, payment, audit, and other finance related sections. Recommend changes when needed
      • Provide guidance, interpretation, and compliance assurance as the subject matter expert on the insurance requirements, the liability exposure, and the risk management
      • Manage company’s insurance policy and work as a liaison with insurance broker and carriers. Responsible for the renewal assessment and execution of insurance policies
      • Review and ensure sufficient insurance coverage for company events or other business activities. Coordinate to issue COI (Certificate of Insurance)
    • Internal Control:

      • Work as liaison with HQ Internal Control department. Responsible for collecting and submitting assertion documents required by internal auditor or external auditor

      • Manage the monthly deliverable to HQ to comply with French law SAPIN II. Coordinate with the control owners within NCSA affiliates and ensure the timely and accurate submission  

      • Develop recommendations to improve financial and operational controls. Ensured that transactions are accounted for in accordance with company accounting policies

    • Procedure/Process Improvement:

      • Lead the efforts to help the team organize, enhance, and maintain finance and accounting documentation, including but not limited to accounting desktop procedures, internal control documents, financial statements, etc.
      • Responsible for analyzing, identifying, coordinating and implementing continuous process improvement initiatives within the accounting organization
    • _Governmental Filing: _

      • Serve as main contact for federal and state government filing requirements
      • Provide input per government request and complete censuses including but not limited to environmental fees, business registration/renewal, statement of information, annual capital expenditure, etc.

    WHAT YOU'LL BRING

     

    • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, legal or related field
    • Minimum of five years of related experience. Insurance management, internal audit or process improvement experience preferred. Six sigma experience a plus
    • Demonstrated ability to take initiative and drive projects with minimal supervision
    • Ability to work well independently as well as the ability to work well with stakeholders and communicate the benefits of compliance, internal control, and process improvement
    • Demonstrated organizational skills and excellent communication and presentation skills
    • Analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude
    • Strong leadership, team building and interpersonal skills
    • Self-motivated and result oriented
    • Be a self-starter, have a positive attitude, maintain a solution-oriented work ethic
    • Heavy emphasis on communication and being a team-player
    • Motivated by new challenges, strive to be consistently learning and improving
    • Ability to work dynamically with a variety of internal business partners (financial and non-financial personnel both within the US and abroad)
