The Warehouse Lending Specialist will perform the daily operational functions associated with loan processing for clients of the Warehouse Lending Division. This includes, the daily funding and repayment of loan advances through automated systems while working to ensure compliance with established operating procedures and loan guidelines. Additional responsibilities include customer relations, collateral monitoring and shipment, aged loan management and daily reconciliation of business unit general ledger accounts. Key Skill Sets or Knowledge Requirements: * Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.) * Organized and ability to manage time efficiently * Excellent customer service skills * Strong written and communication skills * Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment Desired Career Experience & Education Requirements: * 2+ years experience in mortgage industry, but will evaluate candidates without direct experience Preferred: * Knowledge of mortgage industry and residential loan documentation * Mortgage loan processing or underwriting experience * Business Degree (Accounting/Finance) * Familiarity with mainframe loan origination systems, knowledge of Warehouse Loan System (WLS) or equivalent system Job Functions and Work Environment: While performing the duties of this position, the employee is required to sit for extended periods of time.
