    ROLE 

    The Director-HRBP role reports to the Vice President of Employee Experience and Engagement. This position is a valued member of the leadership team and will continue to be. The successful candidate will be a true partner with business leaders and management on organizational effectiveness. They will possess considerable abilities to analyze data in addition to an extensive business acumen to collaborate in efficient conflict resolution.

     

    The Director – HRBP will drive talent and business outcomes for defined client groups within Boston Mutual. The successful candidate will work with leaders to interpret business objectives and challenges, collaborating with business leaders and management to implement people-centered initiatives that will improve the business and employee experience. The Director – HRBP will comprehensively administer human resource policies, procedures, and programs. The successful candidate will work intimately with the Director of Enterprise Search and Recruiting to provide assistance on department specific needs as to ensure success in the hiring process.

     

    This role will be responsible for leading with integrity, objectivity, sensitivity, and courage to establish credibility and trust with a diverse client group.


    PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS 

    • Serve as a trusted advisor who leads with integrity, respect, high personal standards, and works to build personal credibility and create collaborative and productive working relationships.
    • Support the Director of Enterprise Search and Recruiting on all aspects of Talent Acquisition to ensure the company has the quality talent, commitment, and resources it needs to grow the business.
    • Partner with business leaders and management on organizational effectiveness, such as ensuring high standard sourcing, addressing team needs, and hiring top talent for critical roles.
    • Build relationships with business leaders/people managers on operating/service delivery model of HR - creating a partnership of client deliverables.
    • Identify learning opportunities and conduct needs assessment for specific departments in the company.
    • Partner with managers to proactively evaluate and address needs within the department.
    • Consult with business leaders and management on talent management, such as succession planning and development of high potential talent, as well as recognizing and supporting managers with employee retention issues.
    • Collaborate with managers to create personas and accurate job descriptions.
    • Leader in building talent strategy and workforce plans that support the achievement of business leaders’ goals and priorities.
    • Help educate managers to become early adaptors of corporate initiatives.
    • Support organization members by providing ongoing guidance to managers, including performance management, compensation best practices, employee career pathing and development.
    • Proactively address employee feedback and escalating to the appropriate team members/leaders.
    • Promote a consistent, positive work atmosphere through the communication and administration of Human Resource policies and procedures to increase retention and lower turnover rates.
    • Support an on-boarding process that sets new employees up for success.
    • Continue to expand on the administration of employee programs such as the Employee Appreciation program in addition to wellness activities.

    EDUCATION 

    A bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field is preferred. Certification in HRCI/SHRM is required.
