    _“ Louis Dreyfus Company, a privately held firm involved primarily in the international trading and merchandising of agricultural commodities is looking for an IT Senior Solution Manager, Directory and O365 Services to join the IT team in the Wilton office.   _

    _As Solution Manager, Directory and O365 Services, you are the end-to-end owner of services consisting of of IP Active Directory, Azure AD, messaging platforms of O365 and SMTP relay. You manage solution delivery, road map, innovation pipeline, continuous improvement plan in sync with the business and service strategy. You ensure support structure and run KPIs and SLAs. You will oversee a team of project managers, solution specialists, consultants and contracted service providers. _

     

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    Key accountabilites:

    • Impeccable end-to-end management of your solution(s)
    • Business and IT organization engagement on your solution(s) 
    • Financial management of your solution(s): budget management, contract reviews, negotiation on costs 
    • Be an IT inspiring leader

    More precisely, the role will cover but not be restricted to the following:

    • Manage all global requests and changes to the solutions
    • Own the delivery of projects (including resources needs and financials)
    • End-user experience (definition of usage scenario’s, adoption strategies)
    • Manage relationship with vendors and ensure you get the expected performance from them
    • Ensure support structure is on track collaborating with the Service Delivery Managers (KPIs)
    • Ensure documentation is up to date and transition to application maintenance support is timely and transparently executed
    • Follow up issues and risks, and escalate in case of any relevant issues and risks on the functional and technical side, as well as project management side (workload constraints, conflicts, deliverable review and sign off delay from business,    delivery delay from technical team, etc.)
    • Propose mitigation plans in case of issues and risks assessing different options and providing recommendations
    • Identify dependencies within parallel running projects in IT portfolio and proactively put in place actions to mitigate related risks
    • Work closely with IT partners of others Service lines and highlight cross-functional issues or synergies 
    • Participate in weekly/monthly run meetings with service partners and regional peers regarding service operations
    • Maintain daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly KPIs with service partners
    • Review and approve service partner SLAs; hold service partners and contractors to SLAs
    • Interface with service partners to ensure service is performing to contracts
    • Maintain operational documentation (architecture diagrams, SOPs, run books, etc.)
    • Be the point of escalation for all service/solution issues
    • Continuous improvement to solutions and respective services to users
    • Review change plans as provided by the service partners.
    • File changes in support of global solutions on behalf of service partners
    • Manage all regional changes/enhancement requests relative to service operations and in particular to services provide by the global solutions.
    • Review and validation of invoicing from service partners relative to SLAs and contract parameters
    • Collaborate with peers, technicians and service providers to harmonize the services and solutions
    • Define solution strategy and evolution over 2-3 year time frame

     

    Required Skills

    THE FOLLOWING ARE THE REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Must have a high level working knowledge of messaging systems to address complex issues quickly
    • Working knowledge of Active Directory, Azure AD, O365, Exchange, SMTP, ADFS, Azure ADFS, PKI
    • Strong understanding of Server Virtualization concepts
    • Has thorough understanding and experience with enterprise level infrastructure, web and server applications in a cloud or on-premise environment.
    • ITIL Foundations

     

    THE FOLLOWING ARE THE PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • MCSE or Microsoft Cloud and Productivity certifications

    OTHER SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

    • Contract management

    • Excellent written and oral communication skills

    • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on rapport-building, listening and questioning skills

    • Demonstrates strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills to allow efficient and effective problem identification and apply appropriate solution 

    • Ability to present and discuss technical information in laymen's terms that establishes rapport, persuades others and gains understanding

    • Ability to anticipate issues, risks, and pro-actively develop solutions / mitigation plans

    • Exhibits solid negotiation and conflict resolution skills 

    • Ability to deal with multiple concurrent projects and support issues 

    • Strong mentoring skills

     

    Required Experience

    THE FOLLOWING ARE THE REQUIRED EXPERIENCES:

     

    EDUCATION: University Degree in Computer Science, or any IT related discipline, or equivalent working experience

    LANGUAGES:  Fluent English both written and spoken mandatory
