    Prosperity Bank is seeking an experienced Commercial Lending Assistant at our OKC, Memorial banking center.

     

     

    A Commercial Lending Assistant will be responsible for performing complex account administrative support and record keeping within Commercial Lending. The position provides general support and assistance to Account Managers. Assigned tasks are moderately complex in nature requiring broad experience, skill, and knowledge of Bank lending policies and practices. Responsibilities are performed with limited supervision in regards to account support and record keeping; operates independently and sets priorities to ensure timely completion of work assignments.

     

     

    The essential functions and basic duties for this position are: 1) Maintains, monitors and services existing Commercial loan accounts. Processes customer transactions (i.e. wire transfers, pay-downs and advances on a daily basis). Provides pro-active customer service and problem resolution, including researching and resolving customer inquiries. Provides quality control to assure accounts are correctly set up and working properly. 2) Provides the highest level of customer service to ensure customer satisfaction; resolves daily operational problems in a timely manner. 3) Assists with the research of overdraft and outgoing wire transfers and ensures that approval or denial decisions are properly implemented; interacts with Officers and other departments and may require customer contact. 4) Monitors incoming telephone calls, greets and assists visitors and directs them to the appropriate area for assistance. Performs general administrative duties, including maintaining office supplies and providing equipment problem resolution by contacting service technicians; types routine correspondence, memoranda, letters and forms; and initiates Management’s attention to urgent inquiries and concerns. 5) Generates and distributes reports from various programs. Monitors reports for quality (i.e. borrowing bases, interest templates, LIBOR renewals, monthly commitment reductions, non-use fee billing, tiered pricing, etc.). 6) Maintains and monitors account files and correspondence. 7) Acts as a communications liaison for the department and performs other duties as assigned. 8) Schedules meeting and conferences; makes necessary arrangements for meeting rooms, resources and equipment.     Required Experience

    Bachelor's degree plus one to two years related working experience in a lending/customer service environment OR seven to eight years equivalent working experience.
