  • Responsibilities

    The BDS Team prepares Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs) to accurately reflect OppenheimerFunds’ products, services and strengths. The team partners with sales/client service, product managers, investment teams, client portfolio managers, risk, operations and compliance/legal staff to structure responses that address the prospect/client’s objectives. Additionally, the team helps to maintain the narrative portions of consultant databases, and works on ad hoc projects in support of firm’s overall sales, client service and marketing efforts.

    The successful candidate will be insightful, proactive and comfortable working in a deadline-driven environment.

    Responsibilities & Deliverables:

    • Writing portions of RFP and DDQ responses and/or populating data requests for existing and prospective institutional and retail clients and consultants
    • Partnering with key stakeholders to ensure proposal input is accurate, persuasive and timely
    • Working with subject matter experts to develop persuasive responses to proposal questions while maintaining compliance with policy
    • Assisting with the ongoing maintenance of responses utilizing RFP software (Qvidian)
    • Creating and re-writing detailed investment process language
    • Conducting language updates/audits in consultant databases
    • Reviewing and editing peer RFPs and DDQs as needed
  • Qualifications
    • Rising senior or grad student entering final year of study
    • Marketing, Communications, English, Finance, or business discipline major preferred
    • Strong organizational/process management skills with strong attention to detail
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including editing and proofreading
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Advanced computer proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
