    Business Leadership Program Overview:

    Synchrony’s Business Leadership Program (Full-Time) is a two-year, three-rotation program that will help you develop the skills needed to accelerate your career. You’ll gain deep expertise in one of our 10 Tracks, taking on three unique roles to explore different areas of your chosen function. During the two-year experience, you will also engage in a collection of immersive experiences designed to deepen your business knowledge, drive cross-functional exposure, broaden your network, and pay it forward within your community.

    HR Full-Time BLP Experience: What You’ll Accomplish

    As a Human Resources BLP, you will have a variety of experiences that will prepare you to be an HR leader of the future. From day one, you'll make an immediate business impact and collaborate with teams in one of two areas:  

    • HR specialists, who work on strategic projects in areas like compensation, benefits, talent development, staffing, culture initiatives, Corporate Citizenship, and Diversity & Inclusion; and
    • HR business partners, who work with leadership to support the key initiatives that make our business stronger, such as organization design, culture transformation, strategic workforce planning, and employee relations

    As a member of this function you will gain exposure to executives and senior leaders with whom you will work on strategic issues and solutions. The program provides successful graduates with the strong foundation of skills and experiences they need to grow their careers and position themselves for future leadership roles in Human Resources.

    Basic Qualifications & Requirements

    • Master’s degree in a Human Resources discipline 
    • Excellent academic record – Minimum overall 3.0 GPA or higher 
    • 2-5 years of HR-related work experience

    Additional Eligibility Requirements

    • You must be 18 years or older 
    • Any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background investigation and drug screen. 
    • You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.

    Eligibility Requirements:

    • You must be 18 years or older
    • You must have a high school diploma or equivalent
    • You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process
    • You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
    • New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles.  Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months’ time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles.  Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 18 months’ time in position before they can post.  All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don’t meet the time in position or performance expectations).
