    The Impact you will have in this role:

    The Strategic Management & Governance family is responsible for serving as a dedicated technology resource for advancing the firm's business opportunities and providing industry thought leadership for leveraging new technologies. Manages significant programs and projects including strategic change management, new business and product initiatives, process re-engineering, and all general business management initiatives. The Business Systems Analysis role specializes in acting as the primary interface between Technology and specific business / product areas, identifying, documenting and analyzing business requirements, creating detailed project and process specifications, coordinating with project teams.

    The Business Systems Analyst role specializes in acting as the primary interface between Technology and specific business / product areas, identifying, documenting and analyzing business requirements, participating in agile development as a key stakeholder by validating user stories for INVEST and Definition of Ready criteria, acting as product owner for non-functional requirements, ensuring requirements are captured for all parts of the system from end to end, coordinating with project teams, and addressing inquires by regulators, auditors, and business users.

    Your Primary Responsibilities:

    • Contribute to the creation of alignment documents by analyzing business requirements, aligning JIRA epics with business requirements, documenting workflows and nonfunctional requirements
    • Validate user stories by analyzing business requirements, and ensuring there are no defects caused by missed requirements
    • Collaborate with project team, product management, and stakeholders on assigned aspects of the project
    • Participate in the estimation of resource needs and schedule of work through interactions with related stakeholders
    • Participate in reviews of SIT results and defect reviews; support user acceptance testing as needed
    • Maintain and contribute to system documentation under company-specific best practices and standard
    • Understand and apply industry-specific best practices & standards
    • Establish level of expertise in the business areas, systems and platforms being supported
    • Aligns risk and control processes into day to day responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk; escalates appropriately
    • Use SQL for thorough analysis of data to detect and articulate edge cases
    • Recommend controls by identifying gaps and designing solutions to automate manual processes

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 4 years of related experience
    • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience

    The salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations.
