Summary:

The Loan Warehouse Middle Office is a function supporting the CLO Warehouse and Residential Mortgage Finance business’s reporting to the VP of Loan Warehouse Middle Office. The position is responsible for driving the coordination of the Loan Warehousing operations to deliver ongoing operational excellence initiatives, implement new technologies and controls, and provide exceptional client service which is a key success factor within this business domain.

The role should have a deep understand of the CLO warehouse lifecycle and resulting capital markets products. The role will work closely with the VP and Head of Middle Office to strengthen an established business within Mizuho’s operational framework.

Major Responsibilities:

• Ideal candidate will have operational knowledge of CLO transactions and an understanding of the lifecycle of a CLO Warehouse.

• Reviewing new funding requests and ensuring all loan eligibility requirements have been satisfied according to the credit agreement.

• Understanding of eligibility criteria, tests and limits found in typical CLO Agreements.

• Work directly with various internal and external stake holders to support the CLO warehouse business and offer suggestions for process improvements.

• Daily reconciliation of positions and cash.

• Running cash flow calculations to ensure adherence to credit agreements.

• Working closely with front office CLO team during facility onboarding, ramp up and take out.

Requirements:

• 4+ years’ experience in CLO Warehouse business with widespread product knowledge

• Excellent understanding of credit agreements

• Reconciliation and troubleshooting skills

• Strong client facing skills and ability to foster client relationships

• Process improvement/design experience

• Excellent understanding of Microsoft Excel

• Ability to work in a fast paced environment with multiple shifting priorities
