And were looking for more. CME Group is currently looking for a Trade Repository year round intern. This candidate will assist the Trade Repository department on day-to-day activities in support of this high growth business line. Operating under the external brand Global Repository Services, the business operates one of the the two global portfolios of global trade repositories enabling the financial services industry to meet regulatory trade reporting obligations. The team is focused on delivering add on services and products to the core reporting offering. The intern role will be directly engaged as both member and lead of initiatives to develop internal management tools, analyze client data and drive efficiencies. Responsibilities: Collaborates with business to refine projects goals and help solve real business challenges Works in team environment collaborating with business and technology Designs and implements creative approaches to gain insights Analyzes historical trends using statistics and provide recommendations Assists with analytics to help identify right targets Minimum Job Qualifications: Currently enrolled in any major accredited university with expected graduation date between December 2018 and December 2019 Majoring in Computer Science, Information Systems, Management Information System, Statistics, Engineering or Economics (Bachelors or Masters). Working knowledge of SQL Preferred Job Qualifications: Analytical skills and the ability to decipher complex business problems Working knowledge of any one BI tool (Business Objects, QlikView, Microsoft BI etc.) Data visualization skills using Tableau or any visualization/BI Tools Local to Chicago Average 20 hours per week; flexible work schedule As the worlds leading and most diverse derivatives marketplace, CME Group ( www.cmegroup.com ) is where the world comes to manage risk.
