Intern- Application Development Department: Information Technology Location: Naperville Description The Intern assists the Investment Systems team in the areas of systems analysis, software development and testing. Primary Responsibilities * Develops, tests and implements planned enhancements to existing production systems and new systems to support emerging business needs. * Learns and utilizes web development technologies such as C# .NET, SQL, HTML and CSS. * Assists the team in conducting data and systems analysis * Follows directions from other developers on the team to accomplish project objectives. * Applies Calamos coding standards; follows promotion, testing, and other department standards. Ensures overall compliance to all relevant SDLC, Sarbanes-Oxley, ISO and internal audit requirements. * Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: * Currently enrolled in a Computer Science Bachelors or Masters degree program. * Previous IT internship experience preferred. * High level of professionalism and ability to handle confidential information with discretion. * Must be organized and have a high attention to detail. * Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint. * Good communication, inter-personal, analytical and critical thinking skills along with the ability to quickly learn new technologies
