    has an Internship Program immediately available for College/University students. The Internship is a paid, full-time position located in California and is part of a 9 to 12-week program. The Internship gives students the opportunities to gain valuable and practical work experience in their majors, explore the banking/finance industry, and learn about CB&T's culture and business philosophy. Internships are available in various departments, allowing students to gain experience in a specific area of banking and explore different career alternatives and choices. Front End Web Developer Intern: The Intern will contribute to the Branch Data project which will aggregate several manually managed data sources into one searchable system of record. This repository will improve retrieval times and accuracy for the bank and it will be used by future applications requiring this data. The Intern will audit and assist in standardizing the code base against industry best practice standards to improve readability, dependability and maintainability of existing software apps. **The intern may assist or be exposed to the following: ** · Developing and maintaining website using HTML5, CSS3 and Javascript. · Work to build reusable modules/libraries ensuring cross-browser compatibility and UI data validation. · Research industry trends to ensure that our standards and practices are current and poised to guide our team to deliver the best website possible. ** ** · Implement appropriate web technologies to accomplish business objectives. ** ** · Aspects of internet/intranet related projects and web site development for the bank. ** ** · Review application code to identify and prioritize opportunities for code improvement. ** ** · Participate in the design, development and support of internet/intranet web site. ** ** · Handle problem diagnosis and resolution, documentation, etc as needed. ** ** * Must be currently enrolled in a college/university or have had graduated within the current year with a minimum GPA of 3.0 working toward a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business or a related field. * Knowledge of internet/intranet web sites, web site design, and web technologies. * Knowledge/experience using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript * Must have analysis, organizational, communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to meet deadlines and creatively solve problems. * Ability to identify and solve problems and meet deadlines. * Strong attention to detail. * Knowledge of secure web application development practices is desirable. **Primary Location: **California-Sacramento-OAK - Sacramento Loan Center **Work Locations: ** **Organization: **California Bank & Trust **Job Posting: **Apr 5, 2018
