    Cornerstone Relocation Group is adding to our management team in the role of Director, Domestic Operations.  The successful candidate can manage and motivate a high-performing team, holds a deep and thorough knowledge of US home sale practices and brings integrity and creativity to our process improvements with related supplier partners.

     

    This work from home position is strongly preferred to be in the NY, NJ, CT or eastern PA area and requires frequent collaborative meetings in our NJ headquarters.  Will consider relocation to NJ. 

     

    POSITION SUMMARY:

     

    The Director, Domestic Operations is responsible to lead the US based consultant service delivery teams, including service centers and work from home consultants.

    OPERATIONS & PEOPLE MANAGEMENT

     

    • Create a high performing operating environment, balancing cost of delivery, caseload requirements, and deliver on the company value proposition to customers and clients, while driving operational efficiency and organizational effectiveness.
    • The Director, Domestic Operations is expected to implement strategies and procedures designed to improve operational performance in line with the global company service delivery process
    • Assess staffing levels and adjust client portfolio volume and workload balances. Specific duties include portfolio reviews and staffing evaluations.
    • Manage and maintain the highest level of customer service delivery in line with Cornerstone’s reputation
    • Participate in hiring and recruiting of top talent
    • Provide performance management leadership to team through performance assessment, data integrity audits, and operational dashboards and controls
    • Maximize revenue through examining referral fee targets and coach consultant teams to achieve
    • Reward and recognize consultant performance through regular coaching sessions, recognition opportunities, etc.
    • Demonstration of care to your direct reports through regular coaching, training and discussions
    • Tackle process improvement through leadership discussions and aid in decision making on service delivery enhancements
    • Communicate vision and strategy to teams, and engage in regular coaching/huddle sessions to support progress

     

    RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT

     

    • Partner with Sales, Client Relations, internal teams and external clients. The DNAO is expected to build loyal client relationships for larger key accounts.  In addition, the DNAO may be responsible for participating in client calls/meetings (on occasion), may attend client forums and regional and global ERC events.
    • Partners with Supply Chain team to review processes, increase revenue capture and bring about best practices
    • Peer collaboration and support – this role is expected to collaborate and brainstorm solutions with peers across the company to create business unit continuity and consistency

     

    BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

     

    • Participate in prospect and client presentations, site visits, etc. in support of business development and client services teams
    • Participate directly in all new start-ups in region to ensure optimized service delivery and client success
    • Support RFP/RFI, acting as SME on operational components

     

    GLOBAL STEWARDSHIP

     

    • Interface regularly with executive team, internal stakeholders, outside suppliers and corporate clients
    • Act as subject matter expert and thought leader on current and future service delivery components, assisting with process improvements, service enhancements, new innovation and product launch
    • Work to enhance Cornerstone branding in the global marketplace through conference participation, speaking engagements or article writing
    • Other duties and special projects as required and assigned by management
    • Protect Cornerstone’s reputation and bottom line through risk management and mitigation

    Required Experience

    QUALIFICATIONS:

     

    • Demonstrated leadership and relationship management capabilities
    • Must have strong knowledge of all aspects of the US domestic home sale program, including GBO, BVO, 11-step process, equity, appraisals, inspections and home sale contracts
    • Must be willing to travel 25% of the time
    • Minimum of 15 years’ of industry experience
    • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
    • CRP/GMS-T desired
