Global Pricing and Revenue Management plays a pivotal role in striking the appropriate balance between growing coverage and growing overall discount revenue.
Our mission is to identify and guide enhancements to the value we deliver to merchants and help the sales and account management teams price based value delivered, optimizing coverage, net merchant revenue and competitive revenue premium.
Roles within our Global Pricing & Revenue Management teams include managing (setting, supporting and forecasting) all value-driven merchant revenue streams to maximize the strategic value of the Amex network; determining our global pricing strategy; leading competitive intelligence on association, issuer and acquirer/processor pricing; discount rate forecasts; and financial analyses.
