Summer Intern Marketing Analyst Team Placements: Successful candidates will be placed within one of the below areas of the organization:

US Consumer Services: This team is responsible for making membership essential by creating and delivering our suite of differentiated products & services. This team drives the strategy, sourcing, and delivery of proprietary lend, cobrand, and premium consumer products and enterprise benefits to American Express members, with a focus on driving daily relevance and backing in their lives.

Resy: Resy is the American Express global dining platform. Our mission is to power the world’s best restaurants, using technology to envision the future of hospitality. We serve 6,000 restaurants globally. Our customers discover the amazing world of restaurants thanks to our content-rich website and innovative mobile app. Our diners are insiders, and we love having them at the table.

WHAT TYPE OF WORK CAN YOU EXPECT TO DO IN MARKETING AT AMERICAN EXPRESS?

• Analyze data and realize growth opportunities; to help businesses improve performance and drive growth

• Be responsible for understanding how our business functions and how it might best be served using new and emerging digital products and/or services.

• Build and track performance indicators to better understand customer behavior

• Develop cost-benefit analyses to resolve feasibility of new opportunities

• Develop relationships with a variety of internal and external partners

• Share and leverage best practices and provide consultancy to team

• Manage end-to-end marketing initiatives or other customer-focused initiatives; develop and implement tests to measure effectiveness

• Find innovative ways to improve the customer experience

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

• Passion for customer marketing, payments innovation, travel industry and new technology trends

• Ability to conceptualize and sell ideas

• Entrepreneurial thinker who’s organized, has great attention to detail, and can multi-task

• Strong analytical, problem-solving/quantitative skills

• Willing to take risks and share fresh perspectives

• Be proficient with analytical and presentation tools, including Excel and PowerPoint

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:

• Currently enrolled in full-time bachelor’s degree program

• Students must have a graduation date between December 2023 and June 2024

Salary Range: $24.05 to $63.00 hourly + sign-on bonus
