    Business Unit/Role Specific Info

    The Tech Delivery Excellence team (TDE) leverages technical understanding to drive executional certainty in partnership with our product and engineering teams, and ensures visibility across stakeholder groups of outstanding issues, risks, and delivery status’. As a part of the TDE team, you will have an opportunity to steer operational excellence, implement standard processes, and identify automation opportunities while partnering across the organization as we work towards our strategy.

    Skills/Experience

    • Familiarity with Agile Concepts, Frameworks and Methodologies.
    • Understanding of the Software Development Principals/Lifecycle (SDLC)
    • Knowledge of engineering systems spanning hardware, software, AI/ML, basic knowledge of coding languages (i.e. Java, JavaScript, C++, C#, Python, Go, Rust) is a plus
    • Proficient in MS Tools (i.e. Project, Word, Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint)
    • Experience in defining and driving project timelines/plans; identification of milestones/key results, risks, issues and dependencies either in an academic, professional, or personal setting
    • Demonstrated quick learner in new situations with curiosity for continuous learning
    • Self motivated; ability to work independently and as a team member
    • Ability to collaborate across teams and bring different opinions to consensus
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills across technical and non technical partners
    • Adaptable, flexible, and able to deal with ambiguity
    • Excellent thought leadership, analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills

    Requirements/Qualifications:

    • Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Software Engineering, Technical Project Management or equivalent field
    • Project Management Certification CAPM, PMP or equivalent coursework is desired
    • Students must have a graduation date between December 202 4 and June 2025

    Employment eligibility to work with American Express in the U.S. is required as the company will not pursue visa sponsorship for these positions.

    Salary Range: $24.05 to $63.00 hourly + sign-on bonus

    The above represents the expected hourly pay range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we'll consider your location, experience, and other job-related factors.
