Analysis and laboratory emulation of customer applications is often required. -Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: bench validation of new products, validation and calibration of product SPICE-like models, development and validation of customer evaluation boards, generation of technical documentation, and customer interface and support. -Interface with test, product and packaging engineers to successfully bring new products from initial concept through release to production. REQUIRED SKILLS / COURSEWORK DESIRED: -MSEE or higher. -Preferred industry experience in power management especially in the DC-DC converter, and knowledge of non-isolated switching power supplies is necessary. -Excellent knowledge of control theory. -Circuit design and analysis experience on SPICE-like tools is necessary. -Competency in the laboratory, from hardware construction to measurements, is a must. -Significant experience directing or performing layout of DC-DC switching converters. -Background with IC fabrication and design is a plus. -Clear and concise communication skills, verbal and written in English, are essential to this position.
