The company is headquartered in New York City with offices in Atlanta, Poughkeepsie, NY London, and Chennai, India. We have a diverse client base including CMBS originators, investment banks, B-piece buyers, and equity investors. Job Summary: We are currently seeking an Associate to join our Spring11 growing team. The Associate shall oversee a diverse portfolio of commercial loan assets. The Associate will be tasked with providing qualitative and quantitative asset management support through assignments related to loans in CMBS pools. Responsibilities: ? Manage third party leasing, management and disposition firms in order to maximize value ? Create underwriting models and credit documents pertaining to business plan changes and deal restructurings ? Formulate and execute resolution strategies through knowledge of real estate markets, valuations, and value-add strategies ? Review and prepare recommendations for approval/denial of borrower requests for transfers of ownership, assumptions of debt, major leases and other miscellaneous requests for modifications, waivers and amendments. ? Work collaboratively to achieve department and firm objectives. ? Develop and maintain market relationships with appropriate vendors and other industry participants ? Other ad-hoc projects as assigned Skills, Education and Experience: ? Bachelors Degree in Real Estate, Economics Finance or other related field required ? 2-4 years of experience in commercial real estate is required, including direct experience with investment management, asset management, commercial property management, loan origination and/or underwriting ? Proficient in Microsoft Excel and some ARGUS experience required ? Excellent verbal and written communication skills ? Must possess the financial and quantitative acumen necessary to make well-reasoned, decisive recommendations, as applicable, to senior management ?
