    POSITION SUMMARY:

    By Handling Neumann Finance’s accounts and development teams the Business Development Account Manager (BDAM) is a significant role within the company as it drives the business as a whole. Senior Management relies heavily on BDAMs in a litany of ways and their proper use of discretion and judgment is pinitol to the success of the business. Success in this position is accomplished by managing prospects and current customers in accordance with our overall business development strategies. Your goal is to grow and expand the sales activity levels by assisting customers in growing their businesses by having them take advantage of the benefits of commercial financing. Business Development Account Managers will utilize telephone and email communication to provide an exceptional customer experience.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Train, develop, and mentor a small team of Business Development Associates
    • Work with Business Development Associates to ensure the department is meeting targets
    • Use critical judgment to make independent recommendations up to certain levels based on customer’s financial needs and capabilities
    • Use independent analysis to create, manage, and grow a sales territory that can drive the success of the business
    • Independently develop and maintain accurate data in client databases that are crucial to the business as they advance data matrixes that senior management will use to facilitate business growth
    • Responsible for exercising personal discretion when maintaining and growing customer relationships
    • Ensure that Business Development Associates are adhering to company policies along with federal regulations and compliance laws
    • Grow Book of Business by successfully marketing the company by making outbound business development calls to advise prospects of best lease product to enhance their business and move them through Neumann’s CRM technology tools, application process and credit approvals.
    • Manage, monitor, and track the Business Development Associate’s accounts to aid senior management in tracking performance and forecasting trends to target specific areas for growt
    • Develop business from prospects without direct supervision
    • Partner with credit and operational teams to facilitate the approval process for onboarding customers
    • Collaborate with Senior Business Development Managers and executives to develop methods and tactics for market growth

     

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor’s degree desired not required, HS or GED required
    • Two to five years of related sales experience required
    • Self-driven, energetic with an entrepreneurial spirit
    • Excellent technological skills
    • Must possess leadership qualities
    • Strong communication skills
    • Candidate should be self-motivated and possess a desire to learn
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with sense of urgency
    • Ability to customarily and regularly exercise discretion and work independently on significant matters
    • Work confidently within a team setting in a fast-paced environment
