    LiftOne - Product Support Sales Rep Sales Greensboro, North Carolina Description Position at LiftOne Summary The PSSR will achieve sales and profit goals of parts and service by promoting and selling service programs, preventive maintenance contracts, parts, additional repair programs, rental power programs and rental services. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 1. Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from newspapers, business directories, industry ads, trade shows, Internet Web sites and other sources 2. Travels throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders or talks with customers on sales floor or by telephone 3. Displays or demonstrates product, using samples or catalog, and emphasizes salable features 4. Quotes prices and credit terms and prepares sales contracts for orders obtained 5. Estimates date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of own companys production and delivery schedules 6. Prepares reports of business transactions and keeps expense accounts 7. Works with sales representatives to keep account activities and literature up to date 8. Tracks stock levels 9. Develops new customer base while maintaining existing relationships with purchasing contacts 10. Investigates and resolves customer problems with deliveries 11. Attends trade shows and other events as necessary to increase product knowledge and to build prospect list 12. Work closely with Account Managers to develop new accounts 13. Driving is an essential function of this position and a current valid drivers license must be maintained at all times 14. Pursues the critical success factors for the application, distribution, and satisfaction of the customers needs for service programs 15. Develops and maintains a professional working relationship with supplier field representatives to support the service programs and achieve overall goals. 16. Initiates and completes reports and other associated paperwork detailing customer calls, sales activity, commission, etc. 17. Develops and updates a customer list for mailings and maintains a customer quote log Education and/or Experience

    • Knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through a high school education or the equivalent with an Associates Degree in Business Management and/or a product training related discipline preferred. * Minimum of three years industry experience. * Excellent organizational, influence and negotiation skills. * Excellent communication skills, including verbal, written, listening and presentation skills. * Excellent customer service and prospecting skills with the ability to approach the sales process creatively and in a professional and consultative manner. * Excellent leadership skills, including decision making, creative thinking and goal setting skills. * An excellent knowledge of the market and the product with the ability to discuss the technical aspects of Hyster equipment and related products. * Excellent project management and conflict management skills Job location: Greensboro, NC EEO/AA Employer.
